Describe Yourself:Tim Harford uses economics to show new angles to business problems and everyday life. He is the only economist in the world to write a problem-page for matters of the heart! Tim is an economics editorial writer for the Financial Times, and his column, "The Undercover Economist," is published in both the Financial Times and Slate. He has also been published in numerous international newspapers and in Forbes, the Washington Post and the New York Times. He was awarded the 2006 Bastiat Prize for his work promoting economic understanding. Tim is also the presenter of a TV series for BBC2 called "Trust Me, I'm an Economist." The Undercover Economist is an international bestseller and has been translated into more than 15 languages.
Tim's other experience includes time as an economist at the World Bank, as a futurologist at Shell, and as a tutor at Oxford University. He lives in London with his wife and two young daughters. Visit www.timharford.com.
